Most training apps are a very good list of workouts.

Your history Most apps A list of sessions, newest first Forge Legacy Chapters you name, seal and keep
What keeps you going Most apps A streak you can break Forge Legacy A rank that never goes down
The people Most apps A public feed, or a group that punishes you Forge Legacy A private squad of a few people you know
What it costs to look back Most apps Your past sits behind a subscription Forge Legacy History is free forever, by design

The tracker is the engine. The Legacy is the product.

Difference one · the organizing unit

A chapter is a real season of your life.

It has a beginning, a purpose, and an end. Not a week. Not a streak. "Building Your Foundation," "Coming Back From Injury," "The Year I Got Serious." You name it. You decide when it closes.

Chapter I Building Your Foundation Isa Altamirano Began August 3, 2026

Every workout, honor, record, photo and goal goes into the chapter you're writing — not into a feed.

When a chapter ends

Sealed.

You close it, write down what it meant, and it locks. No other training app can do this, because no other training app thinks your past is worth protecting.

Seal Chapter I? Your goals, honors, and progress will be permanently locked. Seal This Chapter Not yet
Sealed · March 14, 2027

History can be added to. It cannot be rewritten.

Difference two · the people

A squad is a handful of people, not an audience.

The two things the rest of the category offers are a public feed of strangers' workouts, or a group that punishes you when you miss. Both are engagement mechanics. Neither is what training with people actually feels like.

It shows what people did, never what they missed.
Nothing posts on its own.
No followers. No like counts. No leaderboard.
A finish line, only if you want one.

The people who already know what you're working on.

Difference three · what keeps you going

A streak punishes you for living. Rank just describes who you've become.

Seven families that measure years, not weeks. No XP, no points, no leaderboard. Stop for a year, come back, and you are still exactly what you earned.

Foundation I've started.
Builder I'm building habits.
Craftsman I know how to train.
Architect I'm shaping my development.
Established I've built something real.
Legend My journey has become a meaningful story.
Legacy I repeatedly become the person I intend to become.
Legacy takes seven years. And it never goes down.
Difference four · what we're bound by

Four things this app will never do.

Not policies we could quietly change next quarter. Constraints the app is built on.

01 Charge you for your own history.
02 Make you feel bad to keep you coming back.
03 Show your training to strangers.
04 Let anyone rewrite what happened.

None of that matters if the training app isn't good.

So it's good. A rest timer that keeps running when you leave the app, autosave that survives losing signal mid-workout, and records caught as you lift.

Bring your own program Paste in what you already run. Forge matches it and builds it.
Honors Recognition you didn't ask for and can't buy.
Progress & photos Strength over time and progress photos by chapter. Private by default.
Cardio, library & home gym Runs, rides, rows and swims in the same chapter. Tell it what you own and it stops suggesting what you can't do.
What's real today Every screen on this page is a real account on a live backend. Nothing you log is demo data and there is no reset before launch. Android has no builds yet, and we'd rather say so than take your email for a list.

The obvious questions

I already use another app.

Run both for a couple of weeks. The program builder takes your existing program today, so you're not starting over to try it — and if you leave, nothing you logged here gets held hostage.

Isn't "no comparison" bad for motivation?

Comparison is rented motivation. It works until the streak breaks or the leaderboard demoralises you, and then the app gets deleted. We're not optimising for day-one usage; we're optimising for whether you still want this in year five.

Is my data private?

Yes, by default. Per-section visibility controls, no public profiles, and row-level security on every table. Nothing about you is discoverable by a stranger.

What if I stop for a while?

Nothing happens. Your rank doesn't fall, your chapter doesn't fail, and the app doesn't send you a guilt notification. Come back and keep going.

Which phone do I need?

iPhone. Forge Legacy is an iOS app. Android isn't ready yet, and we'd rather say so.

Does it track calories?

No, and it isn't going to. Nutrition is a different product. This one does training and what training builds.

How is it built?

162 database migrations, security policies on every table, 2,426 automated tests, and a live backend. A real application, not a prototype.

Free while we're testing

Forge Legacy is not helping you win today.

It's helping you become someone you're proud of ten years from now.
